| Applied Energetics, Inc., based in Tucson, AZ, specializes in the development and manufacture of advanced high-performance lasers and optical systems, high voltage electronics and integrated guided energy systems for prospective defense, national security, industrial, biomedical, and scientific customers worldwide. It is recognized as a global leader in developing the next generation optical sources exhibiting ever-increasing output energy, peak power and frequency agility while also providing decreased size, weight, and cost of these systems for customers. Its proprietary Ultrashort Pulse (USP) laser technology provides a significantly more compact solution than current continuous wave laser platforms while still delivering high peak power. It has developed, successfully demonstrated and holds all crucial intellectual property rights to the development and use of Laser Guided Energy (LGE), and related solutions for commercial, defense and security applications. The company holds 26 patents and an additional 11 Government Sensitive Patent Applications held under secrecy order of the US government which allow the company greatly extended protection rights.
