Werner Schneider, the insolvency administrator for German printing machine maker manroland AG, is holding talks with several parties regarding a sale of the company, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported Tuesday, citing an interview with Schneider.

Schneider didn't want to say whether manroland may be split up or not, but indicated there are companies from China and other emerging countries that would be interested in a complete takeover, while potential investors from Europe don't have such a plan, according to the report.

The loss-making company, the world's third-largest printing machine maker, filed for insolvency last month after negotiations with Swiss investor Capvis regarding a takeover failed.
