Take 605,558 shares X $47 (current SP of ATH) = $28,461,226

Divide the $28M by the O/S of APLVF (76,328,950) and you get $.37.

APLVF should be trading around $.37 per share.

This is so undervalued right now. How so?
APLVF has 76,328,950 outstanding shares per their financials (ignore OTC Markets...has not been updated in years).
APLVF is basically 100% invested in ATH. ATH stock price as Friday closing was $40.28. APLVF has 605,555 shares of ATH.
Take the $24,391,755 valuation and divide by APlVF O/S and the value of APLVF should be $.32/sh and here it sits at $.15

Will be interesting to see what happens in Feb. based on Athene's projected ER results which is supposed to exceed analysts projections.

Seems Friday buying may have been based on this article about Athene.

To correct Twitter, the .40 valuation was as of March 31. Athene PPS on March 31 was $47.81.

Agree but based solely on the prior asset and current trading of Athene...we are still wrong here. If FINs come out stronger for Athene (which they should duh retirement assets...) the valuation of APVLF could be even higher.

Will have to see what ATH financials look like, not sure what time they will release.
