WARSAW--Poland's top insurer PZU (PZU.WA) picked Guidewire Inc. to deliver and implement its new information technology system, the insurer said Friday.

The insurer didn't disclose the value of the contract.

Implementation of the new system is expected to last between three and four years.

Guidewire beat Poland's top software maker Asseco Poland (ACP.WA) in getting the contract.
