Deutsche Boerse AG (DB1.XE) said Wednesday that shares of the German financial-services provider Grenke AG (GLJ.XE) will join the MDAX trading index as of June 24, replacing shares of chemical maker Wacker Chemie AG (WCH.XE), as part of a periodic review of its indices.

Shares of Wacker Chemie will be included in the SDAX index from June 24, it said.

Medical technology firm Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen- und Medizintechnik AG (EUZ.XE) will also join the SDAX index, replacing shares of railway technology company Vossloh AG (VOS.XE).

Deutsche Boerse said the changes are based on the so-called fast-exit rule, which regulates additions and exclusions to its equity indices.

The constituents of the DAX and TecDAX indices will remain unchanged, Deutsche Boerse said. The next scheduled review of the equity indices will take place on Sept. 4.
