LAS VEGAS, Nov. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Flameret, Inc.
(FLRE:OTCBB) a leading provider of flame retardant products to
various industries, announced today that an article was published
in Yale Environment 360 highlighting the dangers of an existing
class of fire retardant chemicals which are used in electronics,
upholstery, carpets, textiles, insulation, vehicle and airplane
parts, children's products, and many other products.
According to the article, there is mounting, credible scientific
evidence that levels of these chemicals are doubling in the blood
of North Americans every 2 to 5 years for several decades.
Here are the highlights from the article:
1. Current regulations throughout the world to ban the use of
toxic flame retardant products may not be succeeding.
2. Significant numbers of infants are exposed to toxic flame
retardant chemicals including known carcinogens on a daily
basis.
3. Many new halogenated flame retardants with chemical
compositions and structures similar to those that are now regulated
continue to enter the market.
4. Certain industries are so reliant on flame retardant products
that as an example, the article sites that as much as one third of
the weight of plastics used in some commercial airplanes are
derived from the existing flame retardant composition.
5. Maternal exposure to a widely-used type of flame retardant,
PBDEs (polybrominated diphenyl ethers), may impact fetal
development and health.

Christopher Glover, Chief
Executive Officer of Flameret, Inc. commented, "The market for
flame retardant products is over $4
billion worldwide and we believe this is a very conservative
estimate. Our products are non-toxic, odorless, non-staining and
fully biodegradable."
Glover concluded, "The article that appeared in the Yale publication is exactly the reason why we
receive unsolicited inquiries on a weekly basis about our products.
We remain very excited about the future of our company."
