Genting Malaysia Bhd. (4715.KU), a Malaysian hotel and casino operator, said Thursday it plans to invest $3.00 billion in the Resorts World Miami project.

The 10 million square foot mixed-development project will include four hotels and two residential towers, Genting Malaysia said in a statement, adding it could also have a casino if it receives approval from Florida's legislature and governor.
