Nodeware(R) Adds Patch Management for Windows, Enhancing its Vulnerability Management Platform
Tuesday, 04 June 2024 10:00 AM

https://www.accesswire.com/871312/nodewarer-adds-patch-management-for-windows-enhancing-its-vulnerability-management-platform

PITTSFORD, NY / ACCESSWIRE / June 4, 2024 / Infinite Group, Inc. (IGI)- Nodeware, an AI-driven, patented vulnerability management solution, today announced the release of its latest feature: Patch Management for Windows. This powerful addition to the platform enables centralized patch deployment directly from the dashboard, providing managed service providers (MSPs) with enhanced visibility and control over patch rollouts for their clients' Windows systems.

"With our ecosystem of supported assets being over eighty percent Windows, adding support for Microsoft security updates represents the best one-to-many remediation path for our partners," said Brian Drake, Director of Technology Development. "We are centralizing visibility for system patching, something that has become increasingly difficult given the trend towards remote and hybrid workforces."

The Patch Management for Windows feature empowers MSPs to proactively mitigate the risks posed by unpatched systems by streamlining the patch management lifecycle, while reducing operational overhead typically associated with manual patching efforts. This approach not only enhances the security posture of Windows environments but also optimizes operational efficiency through key capabilities that include:

Streamlined Patching: Enables centralized patch deployment to address multiple vulnerabilities simultaneously, minimizing the time and effort required while maximizing protection.

Patch Status Visibility: Provides continuous monitoring of Windows assets for missing patches, including post-update verification scans, providing visibility into an asset's current patch status.

Automated Update Workflows: Enables creation and automation of tasks needed to install and apply updates, reducing the operational burden on IT staff.

Reboot Scheduling: Allows scheduling of required reboots for patch installation based on operational needs, minimizing downtime and disruptions.

This release marks a significant milestone as Nodeware continues to enhance its platform not only around its patch management capabilities but other developments that continue to keep Nodeware at the forefront of focused, AI-driven vulnerability management. Future updates will include enhancements to assist customers in managing the attack surface more efficiently and effectively.

Patch Management for Windows is now available for all existing and new Nodeware users as part of the continuous vulnerability management solution. For more information about Nodeware, please visit nodeware.com.

Nodeware(R) Wins ROI Lightning Round Award at ChannelPro’s SMB Forum

https://www.accesswire.com/744929/NodewareR-Wins-ROI-Lightning-Round-Award-at-ChannelPros-SMB-Forum

PITTSFORD, NY / ACCESSWIRE / March 21, 2023 / Infinite Group, Inc. (IGI) (OTCQB:IMCI) - For the second time in as many weeks, managed services providers (MSPs) recognized Nodeware, a solution from IGI CyberLabs, as a go-to security provider. Attendees of the ChannelPro SMB Forum in DC this month voted Nodeware the "ROI Lightning Round" winner for the value of its always-on, always-aware vulnerability management program. Last month, MSPs also selected Nodeware as Best Security Product during SMB TechFest.

The back-to-back wins underscore the importance of detecting activity, addressing vulnerabilities, avoiding potential incidents, and recovering and learning from threat actors. A recent study by Canalys found that MSPs who are focused on finding anomalies and mitigating events are better positioned to capitalize on the shift to cyber-risk detection, a market Canalys expects to grow 34% each year, reaching $112 billion by 2026.

Nodeware's robust vulnerability scanning and management software allows businesses to monitor and identify network assets, both on-site and remote, locating security gaps and delivering detailed analytics reports for security compliance purposes. The cloud-based platform simplifies and automates the vulnerability scanning process, delivering full visibility into the potential risks associated with each of its business processes.

Nodeware is dedicated to helping MSPs and MSSPs create a more compelling, preemptive, and layered security offering for their end-customers, reducing their risks by detecting anomalies before a breach can occur. The platform allows these managed services providers to deliver a high-value, automated service that proactively helps protect their clients' network operations, delivering critical and actionable information in real-time.

"Cybersecurity has always been a rapidly evolving space. The advent of sophisticated language generation models like ChatGPT now make it that much easier for nefarious actors to fabricate effective malware that preys on network vulnerabilities. This catalyst could bring on a watershed of compromises for companies that aren't diligent enough," said Matthew K. Koenig, Nodeware's Vice President of Channel Sales.

"Businesses that don't maintain granular visibility over their networks aren't doing everything they can to combat this potential onslaught," Koenig continued. "Nodeware feels honored to have our solution recognized by multiple industry authorities as a key tool in this initiative, underscoring the essential need for a deep-scanning strategy."

Nodeware® Named β€œBest Security Product” at SMB TechFest

https://www.accesswire.com/741201/NodewareR-Named-Best-Security-Product-at-SMB-TechFest

PITTSFORD, NY / February 28, 2023 Infinite Group, Inc. (IGI) (OTCQB: IMCI)β€” According to new research from Canalys, protecting business networks against cybercrime is destined to fail. Rather, the study claims β€œdetecting activity, responding to incidents and recovering and learning” from threat actors is vital – and attendees at this month’s SMB TechFest couldn’t agree more, voting Nodeware’s always-on, always-aware vulnerability management program β€œBest Security Product.” Nodeware was developed by IGI CyberLabs, a wholly-owned software subsidiary of IGI.

β€œKeeping up with the fast-changing cybersecurity landscape can be a full-time job that most managed service providers (MSPs) simply can’t sustain,” said Matthew Koenig, Vice President of Channel Sales. β€œThat’s why deploying deep-scanning detection tools that work from the inside out offers the greatest potential for truly ensuring data security. It’s rewarding to learn that our channel partners recognize and appreciate the effort we take to help them more efficiently manage their customers’ cyber risk.”

The Canalys study revealed that 72% of cybersecurity spending is focused on β€œbuilding and managing defenses to protect data, infrastructure, people, and other assets,” but also emphasized that it is exactly those potential threat actors that have already breached defenses. Managed service providers who are focused on finding anomalies and mitigating events are better positioned to capitalize on the shift to cyber-risk detection, a market Canalys expects to grow 34% each year, reaching $112 billion by 2026. Complete and continuous visibility of the network – that’s running silently in the background without impacting network performance – is the new reality and the only true measure of potential cyber warfare.

β€œTraditional vulnerability scanning systems that work on-demand miss everything that is not powered on, out of the office or missing during the time of a scan,” said Jack Taugher, Chief Visionary Officer and Vice President, AIR Technology Services. β€œThe Nodeware solution enables vulnerability management for devices anywhere.”

SMB TechFest brings together Solution Providers, MSPs, VARs, Cloud Partners, Security, Telecom, IT Pros, and Application Partners with industry expert speakers and related content. The two-day event includes networking, sessions, and presentations. This award category is unique in that the recipient is the top vote getter by attendees of the conference and introduces Nodeware as a stand-out product/solution by its peers.

the lastest filing has a number of concerning statements. does this have legs or anything to look at? seems a few loans from insiders to the company to keep it afloat.

Cat,

Is IMCI worth getting into at these levels?

Thanks

Off a decimal. Sorry. Was $.073, not $.73. So opening at $5.40ish, not $54ish. Same story, just different number.

Let's see who sees it at $5.40 and thinks it is a better company now, because of the price, and how many sell because they think it went up.
πŸ‘οΈ0
jrf30 jrf30 2 years ago
Let's see how fast it now drops. People will see it at a "high" price and sell. That's my bet. it closed at $0.73 or so. Reverse 1 for 75 puts it at $54.75 per share. Tomorrow lots of people will think they hit it big - until they see the share count in their account.

Bets on it going down to $40 or lower?? (that's only $0.53 per share, so not that low ... yet)

Might even buy it after a dip, but been waiting for this reverse to even consider it. I just know most reverses drop the share count on existing shareholders, and then new shares are issued, and the old shareholders are diluted out of the game. And the price suffers. Low market cap on this one intrigues me, but I want to watch a bit first.

Glad to see good Nodeware news continuing. SaaS sales are the best thing for a small company like this (high margin)
Been told they have a strong acquisition pipeline ready to go throughout 2023

One positive thing is that IMCI seems completely decoupled from the broader market/tech meltdown lately. I mean it's a nano-cap so that's to be expected, but still positive

Volume bounced back a little bit today, back over 20. Honestly it's a bit hard to keep up, volatility is just unreal here. From 12 to 40 to 15 to 20...at least after all of this the multi-year uptrend is intact and strong. What I would like to see though is another move into the 30s and maybe 40s, with stronger volume and especially stronger staying power. Stock deserves consolidation in the 30s, not in the teens, when even .35 is a mere 1x revenues. It would be good to see a couple large buyers or even institutions taking notice of this stock at these levels, when they're pretty much guaranteed to see a multi-X return over the next few years, given that this region is 0.5-1x revenues, and the industry average is 11x. Just need some more buying support, some more interest. But at least 0.5x appears to have held fast as a (low, damn..) bottom

Back to 15…pathetic really

Management needs to get its sh*t together imo when they can’t even keep market cap above 0.5x revenue
πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
There is lots of great news yet we languish at 0.5x revenues market cap. Why isn't trading even at 2x revenues (75 cents per share)? Cybersecurity average multiple is over 10x

They need to be using iHub newswire and other easy solutions to increase awareness. Nobody saw that press release until you shared it here if they weren't already following the stock

Talk about a failed run..42 back to 17 in a week, pathetic lol. I’ve said it and will say it again, this company simply needs to 1) post growth and 2) actually do IR/PR on social media including ihub if they want to see enough interest for 5-10x revenue valuation…we’re back to 0.5x revenue market cap now. Pathetic
πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
Aw ffs, no continuation? Who is even selling this at <1x revenues
πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
40 cents is a lot better than where we were a couple months ago. Take her 1$+, it's where she belongs!

1$ PPS = 2.9x revenues. That's NOTHING for a cybersec company

My IMCI growing up so fast! I remember her as a toddler, young teenager, now she already graduated college and is approaching middle age! They grow up too fast don't they :')
πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
Very solid day and close! Up 40% and new 10 year high, on strong volume

Let's see continuation tomorrow. At .35, we sit at a market cap of exactly 1x revenue

15k at .41 just moved up to .45 after getting hit for 2k
πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
Wow, still hitting...nearly up to 250,000 shares traded today. About 15,000 shares available at .41 and then L2 is thin until .61
πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
Finally cracked 1x revenues! At .405 this market cap is about 1.2x revenues. In a cybersec industry with an average multiple of 11x revenues...so bring on 10x more gains from here lol?
πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
I wonder if this week will finally be enough to get this stock popping up on screeners and bringing retail awareness?
πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
Keep those hits coming!
πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
Ok, wow, MASSIVE buy there. 128,000 share wall on .27 taken out in a single buy, then the .405 hit was another single order. Saw it happen on L2, was one trade each time. Given how little retail interest I see here in IMCI, the action over the past few days (100s of thousands of shares of pure buys) this could be institutional action

Hopefully! Take us to 1$ dammit, that's barely 2.5x revenues!

This is so thin too

πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
It's sortof bizarre that I am so alone on this board lol. I've never seen anything like it. Here's a great company operating in cybersecurity, announcing uplist to NASDAQ and acquiring another well-respected, multi-million dollar cybersec company - no interest. Lmao. Will I still be posting alone talking to myself when it crosses 1$? That would be kind of funny tbh

TIME WILL TELL
πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
Wow, big milestone, just crossed the 0.7x revenue mark

Let's get to 1$+
πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
Take it to 1$....that's still barely 3x revenue (in a hot sector averaging 11x)

It's ridiculous to still be sitting at a share price UNDER 1x revenue...I mean come on...move
πŸ‘οΈ0
Cat Cat 3 years ago
Nice volume today

At .22 it’s now trading at a market cap of 0.6x revenues β€” only 1800% left to go until it’s at the cybersecurity industry average multiple lmao

Bring on the NASDAQ uplist + merger completion!

Top exec at IMCI receives a New York state-level, prestigious cybersecurity award. Legit af:

Stock continues to trade at 0.5x revenues in an industry with average multiple of 10.2x (undervalued by 20-fold)

Imo further acquisitions + uplist will cause upward correction
