At Sala, the Company's ongoing exploration program, including detailed ground mapping and 44 line-kms of detailed ground EM covering the old mine and surrounding prospective ground, has identified a drill target immediately to the west of and parallel to the old mine and extending to the southwest. The potential target strike length is about one kilometer. There is evidence of old drill holes in this area, but no information about these holes has been found in the public domain. This is the target area for the initial drill program. Diamond drilling started recently at the northern end of the target, and two holes totaling in excess of 700m have been completed.
Mr. Henstridge stated from Sala, Sweden, "Our initial drilling program is progressing very satisfactorily and core from both drill holes is currently being split and delivered to the assay laboratory."
The Company intends to complete a further 10 holes along the target zone as part of our initial program. Mr. John Nebocat, the Company's independent qualified person, is also on site and has been supervising the sampling procedures.
SkyTEM are now mobilizing their equipment to Sweden, with the survey work program to commence shortly and, weather permitting, all areas should be flown within two weeks.

Tumi Continues to Drill Silver-Gold Mineralization at La Trini, Mexico
Monday January 14, 5:06 pm ET
- Results Include 20.3m Grading 0.42 g/t Gold and 225 g/t Silver
- Resource Estimate Commenced
- Discovery of Tellurium
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 14, 2007) - Tumi Resources Limited ("Tumi" and/or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:TM - News; OTCBB:TUMIF - News; FRANKFURT:TUY - News). David Henstridge, President of Tumi, announces the results of the third reverse circulation (RC) drill program comprising 15 holes totaling 2,381.5m (drill holes TRRC 36 to TRRC 50) on the Company's 100%-owned La Trini gold-silver project in Mexico. Best results from the current program include:
TRRC 48 - 20.3m grading 0.42 g/t gold and 225 g/t silver from 22.4m
including 2m grading 1.62 g/t gold and 1,389 g/t silver from 24.4m
TRRC 38 - 6.1m grading 2.8 g/t gold and 174 g/t silver from 136.2m
TRRC 43 - 8.1m grading 1.88 g/t gold and 96 g/t silver from 81.3m
In September, 2005, the Company announced the results of the initial 15 hole RC drill program (see press release dated September 29, 2005). In March, 2007, 11 RC holes totaling 1,953m were completed in the La Trini mineralized zone (see press release dated April 16, 2007). A full set of drill results and locations from the three programs is given in Table 1. Best results from all drill campaigns include:
TRRC 32 - 24.4m grading 6.4 g/t gold and 1,629 g/t silver from 130m
TRRC 48 - 20.3m grading 0.42 g/t gold and 225 g/t silver from 42.7m
TRRC 6 - 18.3m grading 3.1g/t gold and 150 g/t silver from 8.1m
TRRC 9 - 6.1m grading 1.1 g/t gold and 201 g/t silver from 18.3m
TRRC 10 - 10.1m grading 1.6 g/t gold and 130 g/t silver from 40.7m
TRRC 11 - 5.1m grading 5 g/t gold and 184 g/t silver from 84.3m
These drill programs, coupled with surface and underground sampling programs have defined a 400m long by 200m wide northerly trending mineralized zone. Within this zone there appears to be a higher grade corridor along the eastern edge, possibly adjacent to a major fault zone and along the mineralized subcrop that is probably related to supergene enrichment.
A review of the mineralogy of the high grade intercept in drill hole TRRC 32 by an independent geologist has identified the presence of silver telluride (hessite) in addition to silver sulphide (argentite and acanthite). Hence, the Company has completed assays for tellurium from 16 of the drill holes and the results are shown in Table 1. Results ranged from a high of 4,362 ppm to below the detection level of 10 ppm. These results are interpreted as material as tellurium has a value in excess of US$160/kg. Further analysis for this metal will be undertaken.
The host to the silver mineralization is a quartz eye rhyolite porphyry dyke that ranges from 20m to 40m in thickness. The dyke occupies a large strike-slip fault that has been rotated and now dips gently to the north. The control to the primary mineralization may in part be parallel to the direction of the dyke that has been enriched along steep, north-northeasterly dipping fault structures. The primary mineralization appears to be disseminated throughout the matrix of the rhyolite, but usually it is accompanied by silicification. No large, discrete veins are evident, and the mineralization would be best described as disseminated or stockwork in style.
A historical resource estimate was made in 1980 by Pincock, Allen & Holt Inc., an independent engineering consultancy firm. The resource estimate was based on the results from 26 diamond drill holes undertaken on behalf of National Lead Industries Inc. The estimate was calculated using vertical cross-sections constructed through the mineralized blocks at a spacing of 45m. Using a 2m minimum thickness at a cut-off grade of 32 g/t silver (1 oz) a resource of 1,262,000 tonnes grading 125 g/t silver and 1.24 g/t gold was calculated. A qualified person as defined in NI 43-101 has not completed the work necessary to classify the historical estimate as current mineral resources. The Company is not treating the historical resource estimate as current and, therefore, it should not be relied upon.
Mr Henstridge stated: "Gold and silver mineralization was obtained within all holes in this last drill program including a substantial width in TRRC 48 (20.3m grading 0.42 g/t gold and 225 g/t silver from 22.4m). It is now believed that the higher grade mineralization discovered in hole TRRC 48 as well as TRRC 32, TRRC 11 and TRRC 12 are related to either supergene enrichment or high grade structures within the stockwork zone of the host rhyolite. The discovery of tellurium has the potential to add further value to the project and we will assay the mineralized zone in its entirety for this metal. An independent qualified geologist has now commenced a NI43-101 compliant resource calculation to aid in determining the future focus for the project."
The qualified person for Tumi's projects, David Henstridge, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, has visited the La Trini project area to observe the Phase 3 drill program and sampling procedures and has verified the contents of this news release.
Quality Control: RC drill samples were collected on 2.03m intervals. Each sample was split on site using a Jones splitter and stored for later use. The site geologist subsequently selected the intervals to be sampled, and the entire interval was run through the Jones splitter twice more to aid homogenization. One-half of this interval was split further to a nominal 5 kg size and sent to Sonora Sample Preparation, S.A. de C.V. in Hermosillo where the samples were crushed and pulverized prior to shipment to IPL Laboratories in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. The rejects from all sample intervals split on site were saved. The Company has continued a program of inserting a sample standard and a blank as a means of checking on laboratory analytical reproducibility. Results from the quality control program are within acceptable limits of variability. Silver analyses performed by IPL Laboratories were determined using the ICP analytical method; all results that yielded greater than 100 ppm Ag were re-analyzed using a gravimetric finish. These are the results reported. Gold was determined by the fire assay-atomic absorption finish method. An independent qualified geologist, John Nebocat, P. Eng., visited the drill site to both observe the drilling and sampling procedures.
On behalf of the Board,
David Henstridge, President & CEO

Tumi Resources Commences Initial Drilling Program at Sala, Sweden
Wednesday December 19, 9:00 am ET
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 19, 2007) - Tumi Resources Limited ("Tumi" and/or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TM - News; OTCBB:TUMIF - News; FRANKFURT:TUY - News). David Henstridge, President, is pleased to announce the start of a minimum 2,000m core drill program at its wholly-owned Sala property, located in the Bergslagen District, Sweden. A 2,000m contract with an option for an additional 2,000m has been signed with Swedish contractor Drill Skill AB.
The historic Sala mine was Europe's largest silver producer, and records show that it is likely that in excess of 200 million ozs of silver were produced between the 16th and early 20th centuries. Ore with grades of up to 7000g/t Ag has been reported in historic records. In addition, high-grade sphalerite and galena ore was produced in the mid-1900's. The sulphide ore is hosted by a large carbonate body which has been folded and faulted, causing the sulphides to be preferentially located in fold hinges. As suggested by the longitudinal sections of the mine, the ore body of the historic Sala mine is located in the hinge of a tight fold plunging gently NNW. Bonanza-style high grade ore shoots were also found along the axial plane fault of this fold. Today the historic mine is accessible down to the 155m level by tourists (see website www.salasilvergruva.se) where evidence of the practice of breaking rock by means of fire can still be seen.
Located immediately to the east of the historic Sala deposit is the smaller Bronas mine that produced sphalerite-galena ore between 1947 and 1962. The geometry of the Bronas ore body is similar to the Sala deposit as well as a third deposit which surfaces at the Glas mine immediately south of the Sala deposit. As previously reported (see press release dated June 20, 2007), a 1km long drill target has been defined along strike NNW from the Glas mine, and a total of eight drill sites have been located for the first phase of the drilling program.
The qualified person for Tumi's Projects, David Henstridge, a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, has visited the Sala project area and has verified the contents of this press release.
On behalf of the Board,
David Henstridge, President & CEO

Tumi Completes IP Survey at Tomtebo, Sweden
Monday December 10, 1:26 pm ET
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 10, 2007) - Tumi Resources Limited (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TM - News; OTCBB:TUMIF - News; FRANKFURT:TUY - News). Mr David Henstridge, President, announces the completion of a gradient array induced polarization (IP) geophysical survey of the Company's 100% owned Tomtebo mineral exploration licence located in the Bergslagen District, Sweden. A total of 16.8km of lines, covering an area 1000m by 800m, was surveyed with a line spacing of 50m. The survey was undertaken by Suomen Malmi OY (SMOY) of Finland. The results of the IP survey will be reviewed, modeled and interpreted by an independent geophysicist in Australia.
The IP survey is a continuation of Tumi's regional exploration work in the Bergslagen area, seeking undiscovered silver and base metal deposits. A helicopter-borne electromagnetic (EM) survey undertaken last year at Tomtebo identified several conductors in the immediate vicinity of the Tomtebo mine and the ground based IP survey is expected to aid in the identification of drilling targets within the area. A preliminary analysis of the IP survey has supported the existence of a previously unexplained EM conductor located 300m NE of the largest workings at Tomtebo. Several other EM conductors previously identified as being caused by man-made activities are also being reviewed as possible targets since they also were detected as high-chargeability anomalies by the IP survey.
Tomtebo has been interpreted to be a classic volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposit hosted within highly deformed Precambrian volcanics. The larger sulphide lenses are found in the fold hinges where they have been rolled into steeply plunging cylindrical bodies. In the Tomtebo area four of the larger lenses have produced ore and two smaller ore bodies were discovered in the 1970's by diamond drilling from within the mine.
The qualified person for Tumi's projects, David Henstridge, has visited the Tomtebo licence in the Bergslagen District, Sweden, and has verified the contents of this news release.
On behalf of the Board,
David Henstridge, President & CEO

Tumi Signs Drill Contract for Sala in Sweden
Wednesday November 21, 1:39 pm ET
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 21, 2007) - Tumi Resources Limited ("Tumi" and/or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TM - News; OTCBB:TUMIF - News; FRANKFURT:TUY - News). David Henstridge, President, announces the signing of a drill contract with Drill Skill AB of Sweden to undertake an initial diamond drill program at the Company's wholly-owned Sala property in the Bergslagen District of Sweden. The program, scheduled to start in December, will consist of a minimum of seven holes drilled to depths of up to 400m.
Sala, now a historical mine site, was Europe's largest silver producer since the 16th century; it ceased production in the early part of the 20th century. Historical records show it was likely that greater than 200 million ozs of silver were recovered from Sala with grades as high as 7,000 g/t. The sulphide ore is hosted dominantly by limestone and dolostone which have been folded and faulted with the underlying metamorphosed felsic volcanics and pyroclastics. The series of shafts along the Sala orebodies trend more or less in a north-northwestern direction, apparently controlled by fault structures. Longitudinal sections indicate that the ore zone at Sala (as indicated by mined-out workings) plunges gently to the north. There is a strong possibility that there are other mineralized horizons at depth, along strike or in parallel structures that do not come to surface. A large portion of the property south and west of the historic mines is in flat-lying land with little exposure; the limestone/volcanic contact zone has been projected into this area.
During the last year at Sala, the Company has completed a literature search of all historical data from the area, detailed ground mapping and 44 line-kms of detailed ground EM covering the old mine and surrounding prospective ground. As a result of this work, a drill target has been defined immediately to the west of and parallel to the old mine and extending to the southwest. The potential target strike length is about one kilometer. There is evidence of old drill holes in this area; no information about these holes has been found in the public domain.
Mr Henstridge stated: "We are very pleased to have located a significant drill target within the same geological sequence as the historic high-grade Sala silver mine. We are looking forward to the commencement of this drill program".

Tumi Completes RC Drill Program at La Trini Silver-Gold Project, Mexico
Wednesday October 31, 12:24 pm ET
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 31, 2007) - Tumi Resources Limited ("Tumi" and/or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:TM - News; OTCBB:TUMIF - News; FRANKFURT:TUY - News). David Henstridge, President of Tumi, announces the completion of the Phase 3 reverse circulation (RC) drill program at its 100% owned La Trini silver-gold project in Mexico. Fifteen drill holes were completed totalling 2,331.5m.
In September 2005, the Company announced the results of the initial 15 hole RC drill program (see press release dated September 29, 2005). In March 2007, a Phase 2 RC drill program comprising 11 holes and totalling 1,953m was completed in the core mineralized zone (see press release dated April 16, 2007).
These drill programs, coupled with the surface and underground sampling programs in and adjacent to the main target area, have defined a 400m long, northerly trending mineralized zone. The zone is 200m wide and remains open down-dip to the north. Within this zone there appears to be a higher grade corridor along the eastern edge, possibly adjacent to a major fault zone. Selected intervals from the first two drill programs, within the higher grade zone, include TRRC 6 (18.3m at 3.1 g/t Au and 150 g/t Ag), TRRC 9 (6.1m at 1.1 g/t Au and 201 g/t Ag), TRRC 10 (10.1m at 1.6 g/t Au and 130 g/t Ag), TRRC 11 (5.1m at 5 g/t Au and 184 g/t Ag) and TRRC 32 (24.4m grading 6.4 g/t Au and 1,629 g/t Ag.
The Phase 3 program has successfully completed its objectives. Three holes were drilled at 25m spacing around the high grade mineralization found in drill hole TRRC32; eleven holes were drilled on a 50m by 50m drill pattern to infill the mineralized zone over an area of about 200m by 250m, and one hole was drilled to the NE obliquely to the mineralized zone, to intersect what may be the fault controlling the limit of mineralization to the east. A surface plan of all drill holes completed in the core mineralized zone may be viewed at the following web link - www.tumiresources.com/en/latrini.shtml.
Samples from the program are still being split and progressively sent to International Plasma Labs Ltd. in Vancouver, Canada, for assay. As part of the Company's sample control program, blanks, known standards and duplicates are also being assayed. Results will be reported when available.

Tumi Granted Drill Permit for Sala in Sweden
Monday October 29, 3:51 pm ET
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 29, 2007) - Tumi Resources Limited ("Tumi" and/or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TM - News; OTCBB:TUMIF - News; FRANKFURT:TUY - News). David Henstridge, President, announces that the permits required to drill the Sala property, Bergslagen District, Sweden, have now been obtained. The Company is planning a diamond drilling program totalling 2,000 metres to commence as soon as possible.
Sala was mined sporadically between the early part of the sixteenth century and the early part of the twentieth century; the mine produced some of the richest silver ores in the world. It was reported in 1879 that the ore contained up to 7,000 g/t silver and was sent directly to the smelting house. A paper in Economic Geology by Allen, et al (1996), states that Sala produced 5 million tonnes with a grade ranging from 150 g/t to greater than 3,000 g/t Ag, 12% Zn and 1% to 2% Pb. It is likely that greater than 200 million ozs of silver were recovered from Sala.
There is evidence that additional mineralization may be found along extensions to the Sala mine and along parallel repetitions as shown by exploration done between 1939 and 1962 by Johnson & Co. They discovered and mined a new zone 600m northeast of the main Sala orebody containing 171,000 tonnes grading 350 g/t Ag, 4.2% Pb and 2% Zn.
There is evidence of old drill holes in this area, but no information about these holes has been found in the public domain. This will be the target area for the initial drill program.
The qualified person for Tumi's projects, David Henstridge, has visited the Sala project in the Bergslagen District, Sweden, and has verified the contents of this news release.

Tumi Completes Airborne EM Survey on Three Licence Areas in Sweden
Wednesday October 24, 2:57 pm ET
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 24, 2007) - Tumi Resources Limited (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TM - News; OTCBB:TUMIF - News; FRANKFURT:TUY - News) - Mr. David Henstridge, President, announces the completion of a helicopter-borne electromagnetic (EM) and magnetic survey over three of the Company's 100% owned mineral exploration licences located in the Bergslagen District, Sweden. This program is a continuation of Tumi's regional exploration work in the Bergslagen area, seeking undiscovered silver and base metal deposits. EM surveys undertaken last year helped define drill targets at Sala and Tomtebo and have proved to be a useful tool in identifying new exploration targets. Approximately 400 line kms of survey were flown over the Blixbo, Krusbo and Stollbergsgruvan areas with a flight line spacing of 100 m. The survey was undertaken by Skytem of Denmark.
Blixbo (581 Ha.) Located 17 km east of the town of Falun. A historical sample taken by Boliden from an outcrop in a road-cut assayed 33.8% Zn, 0.8% Pb, 0.4% Cu, 175 ppm Ag, 0.4 ppm Au and 0.4% W. Two channel samples taken by Tumi verified this high result. One of them, a 1.5 m wide channel sample, assayed 21.4% Zn, 1.8% Pb, 1.3% Cu, 131 ppm Ag and 2.3 ppm Au. The Blixbo area is underlain volcanics known to contain mineralization elsewhere in the Bergslagen District.
Krusbo (2482 Ha.) Located 7 km west of Falun. Several old workings are found in a WSW-ENE striking metarhyolite with K-Mg-Si alteration of the same type that has been found around the historic copper mine of Falun. The survey covered the extent of metarhyolite within the licence area.
Stollbergsgruvan (773 Ha.) Covers the southern part of the historic Stollberg ore field which contains more than 25 volcanic massive sulphide deposits along a 4 km long manganese-rich horizon. Deposits are described as "massive sphalerite-galena with high silver grades." The survey covered the known extent of the mineralized horizon underlying the licence area.
The results of the three surveys will be interpreted by Skytem and will be forwarded to the Company in several weeks time. Any EM anomalies discovered by the survey will be followed up in the field for possible causes.
The qualified person for Tumi's projects, David Henstridge, has visited the Krusbo, Blixbo and Stollbergsgruvan licences in the Bergslagen District, Sweden, and has verified the contents of this news release.
