LONDON--Mitie Group PLC (MTO.LN), a FTSE 250 outsourcing company, said Wednesday it extended a facilities management contract with the U.K. arm of Vodafone PLC (VOD.LN) to cover the next five years.

Under the contract, worth more than 250 million pounds ($418.2 million) over the period to 2019, Mitie will deliver services including cleaning, security, and travel management across Vodafone's U.K. property portfolio of around 1,500 sites, Mitie said in a statement.

Mitie shares traded down three pence or 1% at 435 pence at 0931 GMT, shortly after the announcement.
