France's Suez SA (SEV.FR) said Thursday its Suez NWS subsidiary
has signed a strategic partnership with CNOOC Ltd. (0883.HK) to
pursue environmental projects in the oil and gas sector.
Under the terms of the agreement, Suez will provide
environmental services to CNOOC's petrochemical assets and oilfield
development projects in China and abroad, Suez said.
Suez NWS is a joint venture set up in July 2017 to work on the
Hainan Dongfang chemical wastewater treatment plant. The Suez Group
owns 50% of the shares, while Hong Kong's NWS Holdings Ltd.
(0659.HK) holds the remaining stake.
