Rival Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: RVTI) is pleased to welcome Mr. Brendon Billings as the first member of the TRU Oiltech pilot project advisory team.

Mr. Billings, a Senior Petroleum Engineer with over 30 years of international experience in drilling, reservoir and petroleum engineering is the first member of the team which will be expanded as we continue to execute on the second of our four phase business development plan.

Currently, he is President of a specialized engineering services provider to North-American Sedimentary Basin Production and international clients. Earlier in his career Mr. Billings worked as a Senior Applications Specialist for Schlumberger Canada (REDA Services) where he was involved in reservoir optimization projects including specialized Steam Assisted Gravity Drain (SAGD) applications and high volume gas lift. Mr. Billings has Bachelors degrees in Petroleum and Power Engineering, is a licensed Professional Engineer and member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Total oil resources worldwide are estimated at roughly 9 to 13 trillion barrels of which 30% are conventional. Oil sands, heavy oil and bitumen make up the remaining unconventional 70%. Before moving from the field to the refinery unconventional resources will need to be upgraded and represent the prime market for the TRU process technology.
