Skkynet partner Nissin Systems will use
Skkynet’s Secure Cloud Service™ to run live demonstrations of
energy management systems and secure data communications for the
Internet of Things
Skkynet Cloud Systems, Inc. (“Skkynet” or “the Company”)
(OTC:SKKY), a global leader in real-time cloud information systems,
is pleased to announce that its Secure Cloud Service™ has been
chosen by Nissin Systems to power its demonstrations for Embedded
Technology 2014 (ET2014), to be held at Pacifico Yokohama on
November 19-21, 2014. The Nissin demos will feature some of the
latest embedded technologies, including new wireless Wi-SUN 920MHz
and ECHONET Lite standards, and a new ECHONET Lite plug-in for the
Secure Cloud Service. Nissin will use the Secure Cloud Service for
secure, real-time data communications via the cloud, as well as
monitoring and visualization of the demo processes.
“This show attracts the top minds and leading technologies in
the embedded world, and provides an ideal arena to demonstrate the
speed, utility, and security of the Secure Cloud Service,” said
Paul Thomas, President of Skkynet. “We expect Nissin’s display to
generate valuable feedback on the market’s perception of our
system, and suggest new application spaces for it.”
Skkynet’s Secure Cloud Service allows industrial and embedded
systems to securely network live data in real time from any
location. It enables supervisory control, integration and sharing
of data with users in any location, and real-time access to
selected data sets in a web browser. The service is capable of
handling over 50,000 data changes per second per client, at speeds
just a few milliseconds over Internet latency.
About ECHONET Lite:
ECHONET Lite is a communication standard that ECHONET Consortium
(Energy Conservation and Homecare Network
http://www.echonet.gr.jp/english/index.htm) has developed for smart
homes to support communication between home appliances, smart
meters, solar power systems, and storage batteries to optimize
energy efficiency. In December 2011, the Japanese Smart Community
Alliance (JSCA), along with Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and
Industry and a number major manufactures announced their
recommendation of HEMS as the standard for data communication in
smart homes.
