Highline Technical Innovations (PINKSHEETS: HLNT) announced it has completed installations on vehicles and equipment for the city of Greensburg, Kansas and the Kiowa County School District. Installations commenced on April 14, 2011 and were completed on April 15, 2011. The company will monitor emissions reductions as a part of an on-going partnership between the city, school and HTI. HTI approached Greensburg city and school officials in early March with its technology and the potential benefits for the community and after careful consideration the city approved HTI's proposal and scheduling was set for the installations of the units.

On the evening of May 4, 2007, Greensburg was devastated by an EF5 tornado that traveled rapidly over 29 miles through the area, leveling 95 percent of the city and killing twelve people between the ages of 46 and 84. The community has been rebuilding since that time with a commitment to a unified approach to long-term sustainability and environmental responsibility. Strong emphasis on environmental responsibility is integrated into the curriculum of the county school district located in Greensburg. The city is noted to be the first community in the United States to have LEED certified street lights and many of the public buildings are LEED certified with a noted few receiving the coveted Platinum level certification. Greensburg has been leading the way in going green. Recently, the city was awarded the Siemens Sustainable Cities Award in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Greensburg was also recognized by the United Nations with the Global Green City Award on April 8, 2011.

CEO Charlton Coats stated, "Greensburg is an astonishing story of courage, tenacity and the resilience of the human spirit. HTI considers it a great honor to play a part in the rebuilding of this great community." The event was covered by media which brought a number of inquiries. HTI installed units on ambulances of the local hospital before leaving the area.
