TOKYO, JAPAN, July 28, 2011----- TDK Corporation (the "Company") has announced that the Board of Directors today decided to issue stock acquisition rights as stock options to high-ranking TDK managers, and executive and high-ranking managers of TDK group companies. This resolution was based on the regulations of Articles 236, 238 and 240 of the Companies Act of Japan.
