The Special Utilities Investment Trust Plc (SUIT) has today written to the
shareholders of Brockhampton Holdings plc explaining why SUIT has requisitioned
the Extraordinary General Meeting of Brockhampton shareholders to consider the
enfranchisement of the non-voting A Ordinary Shareholders of Brockhampton.  The
Extraordinary General Meeting has been convened for 15 December 2000.
