Top-ten placing for Cybit in Global Telematics League Table



ABI Research, the leading international technology research organisation, has
placed Cybit in the top-ten of global industry players in its recently issued
Global Commercial Telematics Vendor Matrix.



Cybit, the only European company listed in the global top-ten table, owes its
position to continued success in building a blue-chip customer and asset base.



As the telematics market evolves, two distinct sectors are emerging. The first
is strong demand for a simple, low cost solution for the SME market that Cybit
is addressing with Fleetstar-AVL and greatbigblue through our reseller channel.



The second sector is a demand for more complex solutions requiring integration
with horizontal solutions such as scheduling and Mobile Resource Management
(MRM). This market is where Cybit has a strong track record of successful Return
on Investment and is where Cybit can typically be differentiated from its peer
group through provision of a broader product and service portfolio.



Today, Cybit has circa 1,000 customers with a combined total of nearly 25,000
vehicles tracked on a 24/7 basis.  Cybit's blue-chip customers include Alfred
McAlpine, Renault Trucks and Sainsbury's to You.



ABI Research has prepared the matrix to give an unbiased rating of all the
current vendor offerings based on product implementation and innovation.



Under "implementation," ABI Research examined each product's relative costs,
installed base, regional deployment and range of solutions.  Under innovation,
ABI Research scrutinised a range of criteria including user interface, hardware
and software functionality, availability of wireless links and unique features.
