                                 BOARD CHANGES

LONDON, 15 June, 1998   The Dialog Corporation plc announced today that
Jeffery Galt, 41, executive vice president and former president of Knight-
Ridder Information, Inc. (KRII), has resigned from the company.  He is also
relinquishing his position on The Dialog Corporation board with effect from
26th June 1998.

Jeffery Galt joined the board on the formation of The Dialog Corporation in
November 1997 following the acquisition by M.A.I.D of Knight-Ridder
Information, Inc.

Dan Wagner, President and Chief Executive of The Dialog Corporation, said:

"The Board of The Dialog Corporation as a whole, and I personally, thank Jeff
for his invaluable contribution over the past year, both during the
negotiation of the merger and during the first six months of The Dialog
Corporation.  He has played an important role in the integration of the two
businesses, which has progressed ahead of schedule and is now substantially
complete.  We wish him every success in his future endeavours."

Jeffery Galt said:

"I committed to help Knight Ridder Inc in their divestiture of KRII, and to
support the new management through the integration.  This having been
completed successfully, I now want to spend more time with my family, who have
not seen much of me in the past year.  In addition, I am looking forward to
seeking other professional opportunities.  I feel confident that The Dialog
Corporation is in good hands and is well poised to continue its strong
leadership position in the industry."
