Energy XXI (Bermuda) Limited ("the Company") was notified on 13 February 2013 by Wells Fargo & Company, that, as of 31 December 2012, Wells Fargo & Company now beneficially owns an aggregate amount of 4,585,956 US $0.005 Common Stock ("Shares") which represents approximately 5.89% of the Company's issued Share capital.

Wells Fargo & Company has also notified the Company of the following beneficial ownership:

   2.   Shared Voting Power- 4,069,417 Shares
