Management Arrangements 
 
Further to the announcement made by Gartmore Growth Opportunities plc (the 
"Company") on 1 September 2010 that the Board of the Company was considering 
the management arrangements of the Company following the resignation of Gervais 
Williams, the lead manager of the Company's portfolio, the Board has now served 
`protective' notice of termination of the investment management agreement with 
Gartmore Investment Limited (the "Agreement"). The effect of the `protective' 
notice is to start the 12 month notice period required under the Agreement in 
order to reduce the termination costs potentially payable by the Company. If 
following the Board's further consideration of the management arrangements, the 
Board decides not to terminate the Agreement, then the `protective' notice will 
be withdrawn. 
 
A further announcement will be made in due course.
