    Confirmation of suspension of trading of Ingenious Music VCT plc's shares

    28 August 2008

    Further to the annoucement of 28 July 2008, and prior to the passing of the resolutions by the shareholders of Ingenious Music VCT plc
at the general meeting to be held today, Ingenious Music VCT plc's 15,093,286 ordinary shares (the "Shares") have been suspended from
trading on the Official List from 7:30 a.m. today. 

    If the resolutions are passed at the general meeting an application will be made to the UK Listing Authority requesting the cancellation
of the listing of the Shares on the Official List as well as the trading of the Shares on the London Stock Exchange. Cancellation of the
Shares is expected to take place at 8.00 a.m. on 25 September 2008. If the resolutions are not passed the suspension of the Shares will
immediately be lifted.
