                       Appointment of Marketing Executive


London Asia Capital PLC (LDC.L), the Asia focused merchant banking group,
announces that it has appointed Cecilia Wong as Marketing Executive in its newly
formed Investor Marketing Division, based in Hong Kong.


The new Division has been created to coordinate marketing and investor relations
across the Company, including servicing London Asia's 40 investee companies and
London Asia's corporate finance client companies.


Cecilia has over 5 years experience in the telecoms and marketing industries,
working in the US and Hong Kong for organisations including SuperTech
Communications and Integrated Communications Group. Fluent in English, Mandarin
and Cantonese, she graduated from Washington State University with a degree in
Management Information System and Decision Science.


Simon Littlewood, Chief Executive of London Asia Capital said: "With the rapid
growth of the business and the number of clients and investments we hold, we are
creating a dedicated Marketing and Investor Relations Division, both to enhance
