                            ("LNR" or "the Company")
                                 Result of EGM

Libra Natural Resources plc (LNR), the international company that acquires and
invests in waste-to-energy assets, announces that, at the Extraordinary General
Meeting held today, all of the resolutions proposed to shareholders (as set out
in its circular to shareholders dated 16 May 2007) were duly passed.

The EGM was held to approve the Institutional placing of 35,000,000 new Ordinary
Shares to raise #3.5 million before expenses.  The New Ordinary Shares will be
admitted to trading on AIM on or about 14 June 2007.
