The directors are pleased to announce that the Company has made an allotment of
1,449,126 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company under the 2002/2003 offer
for subscription announced on 4 December 2001. This represents the first
allotment to be made under the 2002/2003 offer.

It is expected that dealings will commence on Wednesday 10 April 2002.
