Unilever's announcements of results, beginning with those for
the third quarter 1998 scheduled for Friday 6 November 1998, 
will in future be made at 0730 GMT.

This earlier time is designed to ensure that Unilever's
results are announced prior to the opening of trading
on all major Exchanges by accommodating the recently
extended trading hours in Frankfurt.
