LONDON, ON, June 26, 2024 /CNW/ - On June 27, VIA Rail will be holding a media event at London Station to celebrate the arrival of its new fleet in Southwestern Ontario.

The achievement of this major modernization milestone means that the entire Québec City-Windsor corridor will soon be served by state-of-the-art, modern, accessible and environmentally friendly trains, completely transforming the VIA Rail experience for the coming decades.

Experience the new Venture train yourself! 

As part of this event, guests and media will have the opportunity to board the new train for a short trip between London and Glencoe. From 10:30 a.m. to 11:10 a.m., they will have a chance to experience this new standard of rail travel in Canada first-hand. Bus transportation back to London will be provided, with an estimated arrival at noon.
