Deirdre Latour Named Senior Advisor & Chief Communications Officer for GE

GE (NYSE: GE) announced today that Deirdre Latour, chief
communications officer for GE, will expand her responsibilities to
also include serving as a Company strategy and leadership advisor
reporting directly to GE Chairman and CEO John Flannery effective
immediately.
Latour, who was named Chief Communications Officer in 2015, has
led the Company’s external and internal communications strategy as
it has transformed into a Digital Industrial Company. In this
expanded role, she will continue those responsibilities while also
serving on the Company’s senior leadership team.

Latour joined GE in 2004 and has held a series of communications
roles in GE Corporate. She was named chief communications officer
in April 2015. Prior to joining GE, Latour worked for the global
public relations firm Edelman, where she was a vice president,
responsible for a variety of corporate communications, brand,
cause, consumer and entertainment marketing efforts for clients
such as Jazz at Lincoln Center, ACUVUE and GM. Latour is a graduate
of Holy Cross College.
