New Funds Offer Inverse and Leveraged Inverse Exposure to International Indexes NEW YORK, Oct. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today announced that it has launched trading in the two new exchange traded funds by ProShare Advisors LLC (ProShares). ProShares now offers investors a choice of 54 ETFs, all of which are listed on the Amex. Short MSCI EAFE ProShares (AMEX:EFZ) aims to seek investment results, before fees and expenses, that correspond to the inverse (opposite) of the daily performance of the MSCI EAFE Index. UltraShort MSCI EAFE ProShares (AMEX:EFU) aims to seek investment results, before fees and expenses, that correspond to twice (200%) the inverse (opposite) of the daily performance of the MSCI EAFE Index. The MSCI EAFE Index consists of the following 21 developed market country indices: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The Index includes companies with capitalizations between $437 million and $234 billion. The average capitalization of the companies comprising the Index was approximately $12 billion.
