SYDNEY, Sept. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/
-- Freelancer.com has announced the biggest change yet to
its mobile offering with the release of Freelancer for Android
version 2.0, bringing freelancers and employers new features and
tools to work anywhere, anytime and with anyone.
The latest version of the Freelancer Android App allows
freelancers to not only explore the thousands of new jobs posted
daily, but also to communicate with their employers, bid on and
accept available jobs. Employers will be able to post projects
straight from their mobile, review and award work to the freelancer
of their choice and manage projects from wherever they are.
"At Freelancer.com, we aim to make our users truly 'free' - free
from their desks and offices," Ilter Dumduz, Product Director for
Freelancer.com said. "Imagine being in transit while posting a
project on the Freelancer Android App and having the task underway
before you reach your destination - it's the future of work."
Freelancer.com data shows that being mobile is extremely
valuable to its community of freelancers and employers with 43 of
the top 100 earning freelancers using the Freelancer App.
"We want to give our users the same features they can find on
our website, Freelancer.com, in the convenience of their mobile
phone," said Dumduz. "With the App, freelancers and employers are
location-independent while working on great projects, and we're not
stopping here - We will continuously add new features and
functionality to our app."
Freelancer Android App is available immediately in the Google
Play store.
