Australian's PaperlinX Ltd. (PPX.AX) has received an incomplete and conditional proposal from an unnamed private equity firm for its business, as well as other offers for part of its business, Reuters reported Thursday citing a statement by the paper manudacturer.

"The board of PaperlinX has not yet formed a view with respect to any of the proposals and the company will provide an update in due course," the company said, according to Reuters.

PaperlinX has hired UBS AG (UBS) as adviser, Reuters said.
