Midwest Connect Upgrades Routes to Regional Jet Service

MILWAUKEE, Oct. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Travelers flying
Midwest Connect will soon benefit from enhanced service on several
routes, when the airline upgrades equipment from turboprop aircraft
to its quick and comfortable Fairchild 328JET regional jets.
Beginning November 1: -- Midwest Connect will reinstate
Milwaukee-Columbus midday service and upgrade that service to
regional jet. This will make the market all regional jet service
with the exception of Saturday-morning service, which will upgrade
on November 18. Beginning November 16: -- Midwest Connect will
upgrade its Milwaukee-Dayton service to regional jet. It will also
add service on Saturdays and slightly retime its existing service.
-- The airline will also upgrade the Milwaukee-Appleton market to
regional jet, with the exception of one Saturday-morning roundtrip.
-- Additionally, it will upgrade one additional Milwaukee-Grand
Rapids roundtrip daily. The enhanced service comes as Midwest
Connect adds an 11th Fairchild 328JET aircraft to its fleet. This
state-of-the-art regional jet features 32 reclining leather seats,
and the widest and tallest cabins in its class. On longer flights,
inflight service includes complimentary fresh bakery on breakfast
flights, snacks, baked-onboard chocolate chip cookies and
beverages. Overhead storage and lavatory service are also offered
