ShopNBC (NASDAQ: VVTV), a 24-hour TV shopping network, today announced that Mark A. Ahmann, a 20-year veteran of human resources, has been named Senior Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, Mr. Ahmann will be responsible for managing ShopNBC's strategies, policies and activities for employee recruitment, talent development and organizational development, as well as overseeing compensation and benefits plans.

For the past two decades, Mr. Ahmann has held senior human resources and administrative positions in a variety of industries including healthcare, pharmaceutical and information technology. He has an extensive background with multi-national corporations with operational experience in the United States, Europe, Asia and Canada.

Mr. Ahmann brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources to ShopNBC. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Human Resources at Prime Therapeutics, a pharmacy benefit management services provider. Previously, Mr. Ahmann was Vice President of Human Resources at Cargill, a global agricultural and trading company. Prior to Cargill, he served as Vice President of Administration and Human Resources at FSI International, a global provider of surface conditioning capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. Before FSI, Mr. Ahmann served as Vice President of Human Resources - Acquisitions and Divestitures at Aetna, a leading national healthcare provider. He began his career in human resources with Honeywell. Mr. Ahmann holds a Masters of Arts in Industrial Relations and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.
