Rep. Fred Upton Predicts Effort to Curb Section 230

Influential Rep. Fred Upton (R., Mich.) predicted that Congress
will take action to curb Section 230.
"I would just offer or speculate that we're going to see some
changes in Section 230," said Mr. Upton, the veteran former
chairman of the Commerce Committee.
He hit the platforms over the continued sale of opioids through
their sites and suggested lawmakers would seek to limit that as
part of any reforms.
"There is a lot of concern that we all have not only as parents
but community leaders on opioids," he said.
