Survey Says: Pets Will Have Happy Holidays! 85% of PETCO.com Customers Considering Buying a Gift for their Pets SAN DIEGO, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Pampered pets everywhere will be giving their parents an enthusiastic lick or snuggle under the mistletoe this year, after more than 85% of PETCO.com customers said they were considering buying their furry or feathered family members gifts this holiday season. Price is no object for just over 16% of PETCO.com customers, who said they would spend $100 or more on their pets during the holidays. Another 23% of respondents said they would spend as much as $50 on their pets' gifts, while 47% said they would spend up to $30. Only 12% said they would spend less than $10. But what do you give to the pet who seemingly has everything? Of PETCO.com customers who intend to buy their pets gifts this season, 51% do not have a specific product in mind.
