EVT Eaton Vance Tax Advantaged Dividend Income Fund

At a meeting held today, the Board of Trustees of Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Dividend Income Fund (NYSE:EVT) voted to hold the Annual Meeting of Shareholders of the Fund on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. (EST). The meeting will be held at the principal office of the Fund, The Eaton Vance Building, 255 State Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02109. Proxy materials will be mailed on or about April 27, 2006 to Shareholders of record on April 13, 2006. Shareholders will be asked to vote on the election of three Class III Trustees. The Fund is managed by Eaton Vance Management, a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp., which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol EV. Eaton Vance and its affiliates had over $113 billion in assets under management as of January 31, 2006.
