PROBUS ESTATES PLC ("Probus" or the "Company")



The Company has today applied for 36,813,184 new shares of 1p each to be
admitted to trading on AIM.  The new shares have been issued at a price of 1p
each to Uni-Invest N.V. in lieu of a guarantee fee for the three months ended 31
December 2002.



It is anticipated that admission will take place on 24 July 2003.
