PG&E Adds Greg Pruett to Utility Officer Team, Names Kay Orange VP Environmental, Technical and Land Services

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The board of
directors of Pacific Gas and Electric Company today elected Greg S.
Pruett as senior vice president, Corporate Relations, of the
utility, and also elected Kay Orange as vice president,
Environmental, Technical, and Land Services. Pruett's
responsibilities will continue to include his current role as
senior vice president, Corporate Relations, of the utility's
holding company, PG&E Corporation, a post he has held since
November 2008. "These new appointments continue to strengthen
Pacific Gas and Electric Company's leadership team," said Peter A.
Darbee, PG&E Corporation Chairman, CEO and President, and
Pacific Gas and Electric Company President and CEO. "Their talents
and contributions will help ensure that PG&E continues to be a
leader in communications and environmental performance." In his
expanded role, Pruett will direct all branding and advertising
efforts for both the Corporation and the utility, as well as lead
and oversee all external and internal corporate communications
activities for the enterprise. Pruett joined the holding company in
March 2007 as vice president, Corporate Relations. He previously
worked as the vice president of communications and marketing for
the American Gas Association. Pruett has 27 years of experience and
expertise in communications and public affairs, including senior
leadership positions at Bechtel and PG&E. He has a B.A. in
journalism from California State University Fresno. He reports to
the Chairman, CEO and President. Orange joined Pacific Gas and
Electric Company as head of the company's Environmental, Technical
and Land Services function in January 2009. She is responsible for
managing the environmental services, environmental remediation, and
technical and land services activities for the utility. Orange
brings nearly three decades of environmental experience to
PG&E, most recently at Seagate Technology, and previously, the
United States Environmental Protection Agency and Booz Allen. She
holds an M.S. in bio-engineering and a B.S. in biology, and has
participated in the Stanford Graduate School of Management
Executive Education program. She reports to Des Bell, senior vice
president, Shared Services and Chief Procurement Officer. Both
