Pure Energy Minerals is pleased to announce the completion of its
geophysical Gravity and Controlled Souce Audio-Magneto-Telluric
surveys
VANCOUVER, British Columbia,
Dec. 19, 2012 /CNW/ - Pure Energy
Minerals (TSX VENTURE: PE) ("the Company" or "Pure Energy") is
pleased to announce the completion of its geophysical Gravity and
Controlled Souce Audio-Magneto-Telluric surveys (CSAMT/MT) over
portions of the Company's AF Claims in Esmeralda County, Nevada. Previous gravity
surveys and a test CSAMT/MT survey, in addition to an initial
National Instrument 43-101 document, identified two anomalous
bedrock low areas (termed Northern and Southern Anomalies or
sub-basins) suitable for additional geophysical surveys. The
general purposes of the geophysical surveys are to map depth to
bedrock, or thickness of sediments, map geologic stratigraphy and
structure relative to the occurrence of lithium brine, identify
conductors that are thought to be representative of lithium-bearing
brine, and to provide information for the selection and design of
additional geophysical surveys or the identification of drilling
locations.
Jason Dussault, Pure Energy
Chief Executive Officer said, "We are very encouraged by the
early exploration results to date. The field has reported extremely
good preliminary data and that the working conditions were ideal
with favorable weather and little wind. We anticipate
interpretation and the final report in the next 14 days."
