LONDON--Air China Ltd. (AIRYY) Thursday said its Chinese air carrier Shenzhen Airlines is buying 46 Boeing Co. (BA) 737 planes for $4.3 billion.

The airline will take delivery of the aircraft between 2016 and 202, Air China said in a statement.
