Does anybody know why this is up 344.0% today?

I was thinking it could be associated with the merger news for China National Chemical Corp.?
Is CHCC related China National?

How can someone get definitive information on whether or not the company is operational and if they recognize their Obligation to clear up this situation with outside shareholders. Shareholders who bought their shares in the 'open market' deserve to know what is/has happened. Does anyone here know anything about the situation, updates and/or have a phone number to a contact so this situation can be dealt with the right way?

Agreed, best way to pull of the scam of the century! I'm holding till they get cancelled or bought out, either retail or not doesn't matter..

So what does that mean, I still hold some?
Any chance they will try to buy me out other than retail?
I agree with rock hard, this has been such a travesty here.
Been in this now over two years, including when they were offering the 1.50 buy out that got canceled for some unknown reason.
Still hoping at some point they will buy me out to close up the books on this

I'm a dreamer. It could do nothing for up to 5 years before it gets pulled. I still hold out a very faint hope this just finally buys out the shares and they can have a clean exit from the US markets.

So this is the way they've demolished everyone... nothing... not even a teeny bit of information... nada, zilch. It is more than pathetic the damage they have caused little guys who've invested their hard earned money into this company. I'm a middle aged struggling gent a family and income constraints and I've suffered a huge loss that may not ever be healed... at least I would like to know something... anything that's truthful from the company about my investment... other than the 95%+ loss due to the shares being quoted at $0.0205. It's not only disgusting and disgraceful but severely damaging to cause something like this. Where are the advocates for the little guys who are suffering?

I dont think anyone knows anything outside of management in China..

maybe these guys reinstate with the SEC and this pops higher and some get to exit out at higher prices someday- just looks like another Chinese atm machine on a company that is not what they made it appear to investors here

TheProfit TheProfit 12 years ago
How can we find out? I dont think anyone as an outsider knows anything. It could be the company buying back shares on the open market, could be something completely different. Would it make sense for them to do this?
Maybe...

Lack of any info makes it a crap shoot

Yeah sometimes if enough complaints come in and evidence of fraud is presented they can decide to make it a case- I think the SEC picks & chooses there battles. the problem is these guys are in China and they no longer file anything with the SEC- maybe we see this ticker get revoked someday because of inactivity or possibly the SEC suspends this in a group suspension with other Chinese companies- Im not sure this one will ever have a happy ending-based on the number of companies that pulled similiar style dissapearing acts or fake financials etc.. out of China its hard to go after all of them.

Cobra Kai, is there a way for us to bring attention to chcc in this regard. what is the avenue to file a formal complaint with the sec? Ive never had to do that before. could that possibly help get chcc on the sec's radar?
Sorry, many questions, not many asnwers I spose. Im not huge into this one but sure would like to recover my money at least.

Ernie,i agree. The players involved with CHCC indeed reminds one of the usual suspects.Until defrauded shareholders band together and pursue the "advisors" who participated in bringing these companies public who get off without so much as a slap on the wrist, little will be done.Another thought is just don't put your hard earned money into these phantom companies.Interestingly,i mentioned a reverse merger company in an earlier post,China Yingxia, the SEC has in fact pursued the "handlers" according to a Wall Street Journal article of a few weeks ago.My guess is this was not as a result of stealth sleuthing on the part of the SEC but rather a concerted effort but a group of defrauded shareholders, helped along with inquires and pressure from the shareholders elected representatives.I think, fine a few lawyers,promoters,pr/ir firms and watch this start to clear up nicely.

ErnieBilco ErnieBilco 12 years ago
If the officers and directors were US citizens,if fraud is proven, they can be pursued.

The SEC is a failed beauracry with overpaid lawyers who couldn't find a crook if they were being held up on the street at gunpoint.

The fact is lawyers and american reverse merger companies facilitated these reverse mergers - The SEC could pursue these enablers and jail them but they are their own.....lawyers.

There needs to be some protections but the SEC is a failure. Their Miami office is within 50 miles of frauds galore and they can't find them. Why???? Because it would mean they would have to leave their air conditioned offices with streaming porn and beautiful chickies the american taxpayers are paying to "assist" these playboy lawyers.

Gentlemen,i agree. The SEC is aware and attempting to take steps to prevent in the future.Sadly, the fact remains, those that went public via reverse merger here in the US were and are structured so as not to provide any shareholder safeguards. If the officers and directors were US citizens,if fraud is proven, they can be pursued. The US SEC has no cooperation from the Chinese equivalent of the SEC. Collectively Chinese companies listed here in the US have stolen more money than 10 Bernie Madoff's.Bear in mind,a US shareholder nor the US Government can sue a Chinese national in a Chinese court. In Chinese business circles in China, the laugh of the day is how stupid American investors, are to invest in a Chinese reverse merger company. No company in China could ever do what has been done here on either the exchange in Shanghai or Shenzen.A great example is a company named China Yingxia International.Stole all of the US shareholders money, went dark and looked like the principal shareholder was in the clear.Mistake she made was selling shares to Chinese citizens. The Chinese citizens complained to the Chinese government, they arrest her and give her a life sentence.Moral of the story, its ok to steal from US shareholders but steal from Chinese shareholder, you get sentenced to life in prison. My thought is let the Chinese companies list there in China as US companies cannot, unless it is on the Hong Kong Exchange.Interesting, however is if CHCC were listed in HK,the shareholder safeguards would prevent what has happened here. Thus Chinese companies should not be allowed to list here unless they abide by the same regulations as a domestic entity with business operations here.Again, sorry for the wordy post.

There should be more controls before allowing foreign company's to list on our exchanges I agree!!

Yes it has been an ongoing problem with Chinese Companies and several of them have traded significantly higher and then just fade away or fall apart etc.. not all are bad but they are not my favorites to trade or invest in.

CEU,CMDI, CCME, LPH, ETC..ETC..

Does the sec not look into these things?? How can they be allowed to go dark without compensating the investors? And how can sec allow 200 million to just walk? There are rules to allow them to go dark
This is so very frustrating, especially when the company is of high value and is successful.
There should be more controls before allowing foreign company's to list on our exchanges.

Just a bit of venting on this one. i think this will end up in the bad choice pile sooner than latter.
Hopefully something will give in 2013.
Cobra Kai, I too will do some more reading from the info provided. I am very curious to know more on this.

Thanks for sharing gemtrader1 you make lots of interesting points.

This company is looking like they headed for the hills and with all the assets they were previously showing on paper here with the SEC it would seem like this company is a little to large to just disappear and never be heard from again? 200 million here today & gone tomorrow and only a few ask what happened?

Seems almost like investors were used as an ATM machine.

Ill look up those other companies you mentioned to see more of the storyline since I havent dug into this one too much to see who the setup guys were/are.

This going from $6 down to not even 6 cents is just a "tiny" bit fishy to say the least.

I agree unlikely after going dark we hear more anytime soon

Hi to all.I will apologise beforehand for the length of this post.I am responding to this as it is the last post on this board.I have often checked here and most of the comments and information has always been helpful.I thought i would post regarding CHCC as my way of thanking all of the posters here for their sharing of information. As for CHCC,my thoughts are these.Firstly, the company has gone dark, which now allows for no requirement of any filings or information to their shareholders.Although i have no proof,my belief is all of the assets have been pirated to the benefit of the management of the CHCC for little or no consideration and have been moved into a new private chinese company owned by the former management of CHCC.The former management discovered a simplier way to gain control of the assets,go dark and beat all of the US shareholders. The supposed lawsuit against Pamco is in all probability not filed in China as the entity Pamco,is not a Chinese corporation and its principal operative,James Poe,aka Po Sun Liu is not a Chinese citizen but rather a citizen of Canada.I suspect Pamco is nothing more than a conduit to have received the shares and funds paid for the consulting services Poe supposedly provided to CHCC.In my opinion there will be no recovery of either the funds or the money paid as the entity(Pamco) is probably domiciled in either BVI,Cayman or The Bahamas and said funds and shares have long since been used to support Mr.Poe's lifestyle.Mr.Poe is banned from any involvement in the US securities business along with his wife or ex wife Paula.Interesting reading regarding the Poe family can be found looking at two of his prior pubco involvements,Pan Asia Mining and Terra Nostra Resources Corp.To wind this up,i believe all here is lost and the lesson to be taken from this should be most Chinese reverse merger companies are not transparent, good investments but rather opportunities for traders to make money riding them up or shorting them to oblivion.Again these are just my thoughts and thank so many of you for your insightful posts.

not sure...maybe some speculation or somebody tinkering with the share prices as to draw some attention?

Im hoping its we are getting ready to here from CHCC soon but thats just my wishful thinking.. they have been quiet for quite some time now..

updated filings and maybe we see 50 cents... share buyout @ 1.50 even better..as impossible at times as that may seem..

maybe somebody who speaks chinese can update us with a phone call to CHCC-

Ditto...not holding my breath..I would love to see the company reinstate with current filings with OTC/SEC.. This would probably climb 500% if they did..

either way I consider this one dead so if its not I will be very happy and if it is dead thats what I expected..

nice pricing action so far today maybe something is brewing

This company filed a form 15- which can be seen on the OTC markets website. I dont think we will be hearing from them anytime soon..I would like to think this has a happy ending but I doubt it.

This form is basically saying we are not reporting anything to the SEC and the chances we hear from this company would require them to file for reinstatement which could be done. This company had lots of assets so if a reinstatement ever where to come expect the share prices to rocket launch higher.. you never know maybe a year or two from now they file for reinstatement but I have placed this in the dead files for now.

Received 3/15/2012)

FORM 15

Certification and Notice of Termination of Registration under Section 12(g) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 or Suspension of Duty to File Reports Under Sections 13 and 15(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934

Definition of 'SEC Form 15'
A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), also known as the Certification and Notice of Termination of Registration. It is used by publicly traded companies to revoke the registration of their securities. SEC Form 15 may also be used to notify the SEC and investors of a company's intent to cease filing various required forms because their securities no longer fall under certain filing requirements.
Investopedia explains 'SEC Form 15'
When a company files an SEC Form 15, it usually means one of two things. It may mean that a company is ceasing to exist in a publicly-traded form, either returning to privately-held status or going out of business altogether. Alternatively, it may mean that a company is simply canceling a certain class of securities, replacing them with another class.

Related Forms: SEC Forms 15-12B, 15-12D, 15-12G, and 15-12F.

I don't sell at a loss. They will have to pry them out of my hands with a buyout figure, it doesn't even need to be $1.50 IMO

this one IS NOT OVER!!
they will have to clean up the outstanding shares.
they will have to face the SEC if they dont hold
annual shareholders meetings.
dont give away your shares at these levels, no point.

I think they just want to disappear for good- the business in China will probably keep going and the shares here are probably trying to be forgotten.. and or abandoned for good.

300 million dollar company now you see it...and now you dont...not sure we are even in the back of there minds Ernie?
I would like to think a buyout would take place but I thinks odds have gotten very slim..

The US Exchanges allow these types of companies to exist and they shouldnt.... this isnt the only one who has done this there is nice growing list..

👍️0
ErnieBilco ErnieBilco 12 years ago
The PAMCO litigation is in China so I doubt we could access any of the proceedings. I don't understand why they don't just buy all publicly held shares at $1.50 inclusive of PAMCO -

We are talking about $15mil - surely they could pay that out of revenues and not even miss it.

Cobra Kai Cobra Kai 12 years ago
Im very sorry for your losses on this one- Unfortunately not only CHCC but many others have come the U.S Exchanges as growth companies with decent/strong assets and they disappear and quickly unravel here on our exchange.. several examples of these companies from what I think is just simply lets unload on out of the country shareholders...

I have not heard anything on the PAMCO situation and Im not expecting this company to communicate because they have made it clear by not having filed with the SEC for years that its the least of there concerns.

I know promo companies artificially inflate and manipulate prices in the market but some of these Chinese companies appear to play accounting games or something to make the stories of growth potential seem great... very unfortunate and the money extracted out of the marketplace from retail investors is as you said devastating for many and its a shame there isnt a stronger handle on these types of situations...bank robbers could rob a bank for 50,000 and if caught get several years in prison- In the marketplace rarely does it even hit the radar screen and millions are stolen by companies & insiders at our expense. I wish we hear more here but not being able to speak chinese and call the company directly makes it rather difficult to get answers.

That type of behavior should not be allowed. I am very hurt, infuriated and have been financially devastated by this debacle. I only wish they would do what is right and not be underhanded and secretive to us "outside" shareholders and pay what is a fair and honest valuation for the outstanding shares. BTW, do you know where/how to find out about the PAMCO lawsuit?
