I don't even think that's possible. Can this even be purchased anymore?? With all the new OTC Clamp downs and current and fully reporting rules I can't by 60% of the stocks on my watchlist that I used to buy back in Spring :(

They compensated CYPS for the ticker. Then CYPS filed a name change and the ticker to CYPS. Question is what did CYPS get in exchange for doing that. How much money?

Yes, after I replied before it came back to me. Yes, the Russian Co paid CYPS for the ticker name and then they IPO'ed it. The question many had when we ran some weeks back is what was the ticker worth and what did CYPS get paid.

I checked back on some posts from when the ticker change happened. Looks to me like the Russian company only wanted the ticker....and so the shell owner somehow transferred the ticker to them and then changed ours. I have never seen that done before. It's a shame too....because if this Russian company (they are known as the "Russian Amazon") has did a standard R/M it would have been one of the biggest R/M's ever. Very screwy.

I checked back to some old posts from when the ticker change happened and all I can say is wow. If that Russian company (that is now OZON) had done a standard reverse merger, it would have been one for the record books. All they wanted was the ticker. I honestly have never seen that before LOL.

I think I bought this from looking at DDAmanda.....but I was'nt aware of the story here. Stock symbol was formerly OZON. A large Russian company somehow took that ticker and IPO'd. What we own then changed to CYPS. Very strange LOL I don't think i've seen that before. No reverse merger....they just bought the ticker?

P.S. from the quick DD I did I found that they call call the company that took the OZON ticker the "AMAZON Of Russia". Again....how did they take our ticker with no reverse merger?

I am interested in what happened here....how did this huge Russian company obtain the OZON ticker ( with a soon after IPO) and our ticker changed to CYPS? I have 100k shares of this that I did'nt even know about LOL and I decided to check up on it today. There was no reverse merger, right? So how screwy is this? Any idea as to what happened here Garyst?
