Singapore is reviewing the rules governing casinos in the city state, The Straits Times reported Monday, citing S. Iswaran, the minister in the prime minister's office.

A review of the Casino Control Act is timely, as the two integrated resorts in Singapore have been in operation for two years, the report quoted Iswaran, who is also the second minister for home affairs, as saying at a community event on Sunday.

The government will release more details about the review in the second half of the year, according to the report, which didn't have more details.
