Business Wire
Nighthawk Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:NIHK), a leading provider of
intelligent wireless power management and emergency notification
solutions, announced today that it has received a second order for
its CEO700 meter-based whole house disconnect units from Conway
Corporation, which operates the electric, water, wastewater and
cable television utility services for the city of Conway, Arkansas.
Nighthawk announced in June of 2006 that Conway Corporation made
their first purchase. The CEO700s are used as part of an ongoing
program to wirelessly disconnect and reconnect power to electric
customers, including local college students who frequently move
into and out of houses and housing complexes. Nighthawk was
originally introduced to Conway Corporation by the Stuart C. Irby
Company of Jackson, Mississippi, one of the nations leading
electrical wholesalers. The CEO700 gives electric utilities the
ability to remotely connect and disconnect power to residential
electric meters on a moments notice, saving them significant time
and money over the traditional manual method that typically
requires multiple truck rolls and field personnel. H. Douglas
Saathoff, Nighthawks Chief Executive Officer, commented, Im very
pleased to receive this second order from Conway Corporation, which
provides 24-hour connection services for its customers. They join a
long list of electric utilities that continue to enhance their
capabilities and serve their customers more efficiently using
Nighthawk devices. About Nighthawk Systems, Inc. Nighthawk is a
