They've filed patent applications. Certification only comes after they've completed their R&D efforts to maximize performance while minimizing weight and costs of production / materials. Their goal (in case you've missed it) is to provide a safer, more durable, affordable, and eco-friendly alternative to traditional construction materials -- since the construction industry is responsible of one-third of all global waste! At the same time, they'll keep millions of tons of plastic and cardboard waste out of our environment AND save billions of trees from being destroyed. So you can try to mock them for not meeting artificially-created schedules -- but once they get their shit together (and they will!), all you critics will look like jerks who could have been accumulating shares of XERI while it was still dirt cheap.

Last I heard, NCC (Next New Concept) is still developing that major project in Ivory Coast and is still planning to use NexBoards. Look it up on their website and their EquityNet.com profile.

When all the testing is completed, and Xeriant (XERI) starts to mass produce, DUREVER (TM) will probably sell train loads of NEXBOARDS (TM).

While some of you have decided that XERI’s NEXBOARD is dead in the water, a less subjective reading of their recent press releases could easily come to the conclusion that they are simply taking a more more deliberate/scientific approach to their R&D efforts. Rather than rushing into the certification process — which only makes sense ONCE they have completed all the tweaking of their final formulations — they hired an expert polymer chemist and a leading thermoplastics compounding facility who appear to be conducting a "comprehensive battery of tests scheduled over 40 hours” including rigorous fire resistance tests and various other tests measuring properties such as "thermal expansion, tensile strength, impact resistance and stiffness.” This will allows them to "compress the product development life cycle, lowering costs and shortening the timeline to full-scale production.” Those of you who would prefer to see XERI fail can try to poke holds in my interpretation of their announcement. But I prefer to view XERI’s recent announcements from a more positive perspective.

Based on your interpretation of that PR? Maybe you need an interpreter. Any 5th grader with average reading comprehension skills will do.

Paragraph #2 stated that...
"The revised NEXBOARD™ composition is aimed at passing the rigorous NFPA 286 fire test, which evaluates the flammability characteristics of interior wall and ceiling finish materials. To improve NEXBOARD’s fire resistance properties, several modifications were made to the intumescent system, the components which react to form an insulating char barrier when exposed to heat or fire. The vendor is producing lab scale samples of NEXBOARD to conduct a comprehensive battery of tests scheduled over 40 hours, including the UL-94 vertical burn test, a standard fire resistance test for plastics, and various other tests measuring properties such as thermal expansion, tensile strength, impact resistance and stiffness."
