Gamesa Wind Turbines Gets 2,000 MW Order From Caparo Energy

Gamesa Wind Turbines Pvt. Ltd., a unit of Spain's Gamesa
Corporacion Tecnologica SA (GCTAY), one of the world's largest wind
turbine makers by capacity, Tuesday received an order for 2,000
megawatts of wind power projects from India-focused Caparo Energy
Ltd. (CNE.LN).
The projects will be implemented by 2016, the two companies
said. They didn't disclose the value of the order.
"The agreement is part of Caparo Energy's long-term strategy to
secure its supply of turbines at a preferential pricing," they
said.
