                         RESULTS OF REDEMPTION FACILITY





New Star RBC Hedge 250 Index Exchange Traded Securities PCC Limited ("Hedge ETS
") announces that it has received Redemption Requests and effected Share
Redemptions as set out below.



Redemption Day



The Company's Article of Association incorporate provisions to enable
Shareholders, at the Directors' discretion, to redeem up to 100 per cent of
their Shares for cash as at the first business day of January or July or up to
50 per cent of their Shares for cash as at the first business day of January,
April, July or October in each year.



The Directors announced on 23 November 2007 that they had determined to operate
the facility for 1 April 2008 (the "Redemption Day")



Valid redemption requests were received by 2 January 2008 for 98,578 Euro 1X
Shares and 1,000,000 US 3X Dollar Shares. No redemption requests were received
for 1X GBP, 1X USD, 3X GBP and 3X EUR Shares.



Redemption requests will be fully satisfied.



Redemption Price



All redemptions will be effected at the net asset value per Share of the
relevant class at 31st March 2008, less direct costs. No redemption fee is
expected to be payable.



Settlement



Full redemption proceeds will normally be dispatched to Shareholders within 15
days after the publication of the RBC Hedge 250 Index level prevailing on the
Redemption Day (which is expected to be on or around the 45th day after 31st
March 2008). Where payments under the Swaps are delayed or withheld or the
company is unable to liquidate its other investments in an orderly manner, the
company may take longer to pay the redemption proceeds or scale back redemption
pro-rata amongst redeeming Shareholders.
