Logica Employee Share Ownership Plan Trust ("the Trust")

In accordance with reporting requirements agreed with The Stock Exchange,
Logica plc ("Logica") announces that it received notification on 30 June 1997
of the following exercise of options:-

Following the exercise of the above option, the overall size of the Trust and
consequently the interests of each of the directors of Logica, as potential
beneficiaries of the Trust, has reduced by 1,500 shares.

The Trust is a discretionary trust which was established in September 1990 for
the benefit of Logica staff.  It has an independent professional trustee and
is currently financed by the Company and its subsidiaries.  The Trust
purchases shares in the market, in conjunction with the Company's "all
employee" and "discretionary" share option schemes, and long term share
related bonus scheme.

Following the transfer of shares from the Trust to the said member of staff,
the Trust has an interest in 1,252,441 ordinary shares (representing 1.96%) of
Logica, in which each of the directors of Logica is deemed to be interested.
