NEOVIA to provide payment processing for IPTV streaming of Channel 4's Big
Brother
Perform chooses NEOVIA's NETBANX payment gateway
Monday 7th June 2010 - NEOVIA Financial Plc (LSE: NEO), the leading alternative
payments business, has announced that it will provide payment processing to
Perform for live streaming to PC (IPTV) of the final series of Channel 4's Big
Brother show. This follows NEOVIA's recent announcement that it is handling
payment processing for the SeeSaw Video on Demand platform.
The 11th series of Big Brother will start with a live show on Wednesday 9th June
and will broadcast on Channel 4 and E4 throughout the summer.
"Big Brother is a major TV event that has a massive online audience, and with
NEOVIA's NETBANX gateway I'm confident we have chosen a robust, secure platform
that can handle any demands we ask of it," said Oliver Slipper, Group CEO at
Perform.
"Following our recent win with SeeSaw, this is another leading merchant that has
chosen to use NEOVIA in the media and IPTV market," said Dan Starr, Chief
Marketing Officer at NEOVIA Financial. "This proves the suitability of our
NEOVIA Payment Network for this kind of application, and the trust that our
customers have in the platform."
The NEOVIA Payment Network(TM) simplifies payments for businesses improving
customer experience, margins and lifetime value. It includes the international
NETBANX payments processing service for merchants, and member and card services
through the NETELLER payment account. NETBANX allows merchants to accept and
settle card and non-card payments through multiple channels including online,
contact centres, mail order and via automated phone systems. Via NETELLER
merchants can offer their loyal customers a branded payment account that allows
instant and direct settlement that avoids the complexities and costs of
traditional card schemes; the embedded multi-award-wining Net+ card allows
consumers to spend at over 30 million MasterCard locations worldwide.
