Smithson Investment Trust plc announces that on 13 January 2025, it purchased for holding in treasury 55,965 ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of 1,438.59 pence per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 47,144,065 ordinary shares held in treasury and 129,963,893 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 177,107,958.
