Smithson Investment Trust plc announces that on 31 January 2025, it purchased for holding in treasury 78,517 ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of 1,559.37 pence per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 48,498,219 ordinary shares held in treasury and 128,609,739 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 177,107,958.
